During a meeting on Wednesday with the French Ambassador to Iraq, Eric Chevalier, the head of the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zeidan, discussed the steps leading up to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries’ Judicial Councils. This is according to a statement released by the Supreme Judicial Council.
The statement continued that during the meeting, they discussed ways around the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq and the French judiciary as well as ways of cooperating between the two countries regarding the fight against corruption.
